Fairfax High School Students Named to Virginia Honors Choir

Fairfax High School student Kabir Ali has been named to the Virginia Honors Choir for 2017, the highest honor for a high school student. Kabir is a member of the 125 choir from across the state and joins 33 other students from Fairfax County. Two FHS students, Aya Nassif and Jordan Hicks were named as alternates.

The choir will perform at the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) professional development conference at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs November 18, under the direction of Dr. Deen Entsminger, professor of music at Belmont University School of Music in Nashville.
