Each year the City of Fairfax School Board recognizes students and staff in the four city schools at their May and June regular school board meetings. This year, the Board was unable to hold the meeting to honor the over 300 students and staff in person and had to honor the students online.
"Student and staff recognition is one of our favorite evenings and we are sorry we were unable to celebrate with everyone individually," said School Board Chairman Carolyn Pitches. "While we know this is not the same, we do extend our deepest congratulations and best wishes to all of our students and staff."
